In January 2024, the Richmond Faerie Federation met up at Black Heath Meadery for the Unseelie Court. Our Unseelie Queen and Seelie Faerie Queen Antoinette graced us with their presence for a royal meeting of the fae. There was a costume contest, the best mockery of Goatie Woatie, a game with the Unseelie Queen, and glamourous shenanigans. There are more photos of this event, over on our Instagram.
Black Heath Meadery is releasing a faerie series of meads with bottle labels designed by artist Nicole Pisaniello. We'll have some casual meet ups as the future meads are released. The current one is First Spark, to celebrate Imbolc, the Celtic festival to celebrate Spring and new awakenings.
